It’s no secret that I love a project that is inexpensive, simple, and -most of all- impactful! When I re-did our tiny dining room, I wanted to do a simple grid gallery wall, and I wanted to keep the art in the frames very minimal. So, I decided to draw up some super simple florals!
I have an in-depth tutorial on my Instagram (@lemon.and.bloom), and I promise you that these are a super simple project that anyone can do!
I used watercolor paper for my florals, because I love the slight texture it has.
First, I drew everything lightly with pencil. Every floral starts with a line.
Then, add leaves by connecting two “arches.”
I added details, such as lines down the middle, to the leaves in some of the branches I drew.
Petals are simple, too. Mix up the florals/branches you use!
The last step is tracing over them with sharpie, and then erasing the pencil underneath.
I put the art in these frames, and then hung them in a simple grid.
Easy, inexpensive, impactful – my kind of deal! Be sure to check out the full tutorial on Instagram (@lemon.and.bloom), and tag me if you give it a try!
